I hadn't heard Rock Island Line before - but do remember the others!
And, oh boy, I love My Old Man's a Dustman! I still sing it to this day! Especially when I am outside tidying up the garden for some reason!!

Re: Lonnie Donegan

Denis - I was just thinking about him today - The one and only 'pop' musician I have ever seen live (Went to Yarmouth with my Mum when I was a teenager) I really liked his music, the funnies and the serious, had many LP's of his. Thanks for posting those videos it brought back lots of memories.

The reason I was thinking about him today was because so far as I know he never got involved with drugs, booze, or extra marital affairs, 'tho I seem to recall he married several times.

He had a small part in one episode of Hearbeat in the late nineties and died while still working and performing on a tour - sorry I can't remember where. He was a grafter, unlike nearly all the current bunch of so called musicians.
