Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

That site is only for 55 and over at the moment. I'm in the last group which is getting annoying as my older friends & family have all had the first jab now.

Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

This will give some idea for your age groups.

The 50's age groups are currently being vaccinated, the remaining groups are shown below.

To be vaccinated

Estimated date range
40-49
7 million
4 April to 23 June

30-39
7 million
24 June to 12 July

18-29
7 million
13 July to 31 July

Notes: JCVI estimate of numbers left to be vaccinated. Sky News analysis for estimated dates assumes 100% take up with second doses given after 11-weeks. Dates can vary by change in vaccination rate in the future.

My Son in law is 51 and is having his vaccination this coming Tuesday, the 16th March.

It shouldn't be long for yours, Zuleika.

Yes Zuleika, I have a large number of friends over 55 although I am under 55. They have all been vaccinated (except for the vegan who refuses!). I also have friends who are under 55 and at risk or carers who have been vaccinated. One BFF if under 55 but has been vaccinated last week. So I hope it's going to be me soon.

Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

Nb most of my friends who are over 55 are under 60. The ones just over were vaccinated in the last couple of weeks. They live all over the UK.

I'm starting to get twitchy Mags when I hear things like that. I feel like shouting "it should have been me!" (in Yvonne fair fashion)

I know what you mean Annie, I was the same, my vac couldn't come along quick enough. I'm getting excited now as I only have to wait 3 weeks for my second jab!

None of the addresses of vaccination centres are anywhere near me; the one where I had my first jab was just up the road.

I assume that this site is really intended for those who have not yet had an injection, so decided to leave it and just wait my turn.
It's possible the site is only intended for those going to the vaccination hubs. If you had your first jab at a GP's surgery, then you'll probably need to return there.
