I couldn't make a claim even if I had wanted to because of my presumed academic competence (that means I was supposed to know what I was doing!) and wouldn't have bothered anyway.

Another souvenir of my misspent youth is that there's an active particle somewhere in my left forearm churning out gamma rays. Not a lot but detectable.

Once again a souvenir. Came from working for a term on a rather old bench in lab that had a history of being used with odd materials.

Funny old life when you think about it.

Today many universities have "safe spaces" where Snowflakes can run to if feeling Hurt.

In MY day a safe space was anywhere with a local background count less than 90!
Hello, Welcome to the site, Artful Todger.... good profile name you’ve chosen.... well that is the first word of it, probably not the second word!

Gosh, you sound as if you are suffering and for all those years too.

Mine sounds like the sound of when you rub the rim of a glass, you know, like when you are trying to contact a spirit! It only occurs during my shaking head movement.

Earrings rattling and hair clip tapping against another thankfully as I had a eustachian tube infection recently that caused all sorts of odd whooshing, water dribbling sounds.

What high-voltage source was that, at 10kHz?

Just interested, you understand.

And what line of research did you do?
