Are any of you doing anything special to celebrate?

Yep, having a day off work!

I haven't heard of any street parties being held and, I don't know if it's the same in your location, but here there has to be permission granted from the local council to close off roads for such occasions.

I hope the weather is nice though for those that are planning celebratory parties, or whatever else they're doing.

Re: Jubilee Day

No street party where I live but it would be very impractical.
I have a great admiration for our Queen and we will celebrate with a BBQ and maybe some noise

Re: Jubilee Day

If weather be fair, I shall sit out at the front with my Code Breaker and a cup of tea.

I got married in 1972 when it was the Queen's 20th year on the throne. I bought an hearth rug with a fleur-de-lys on it signifying the event.

Re: Jubilee Day

Six of us have a special meal booked at a local establishment, well we are all Royalists and have to show our support for the good work that she has done over the years.
