Have a Terrific Thursday Folk.

This was taken in Jersey a few years ago. I managed to finish off planting out my veggie plants yesterday and it rained heavily afterwards so they got well watered in. It's all looking good at the moment.

Re: Have a Terrific Thursday Folk.

Good morning Alan and all who visit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3yCcXgbKrE

It is a fine day here and Mother natures creatures are taking full advantage of it, they are out in abundance searching for food and they must be happy because they are singing their heads off.

Plans for today are, first of all a visit to Aldi and Morrisons then lunch somwhere that serves a nice T Bone steal followed by an afternoon of visiting some people in Hospital who do not get visitors. Tonight it is quizz night.

It is a long time since I was in Jersey Alan but going from the photo nothing seems to have changed.

Decisions, Decisions, left or right!!!!!

Have a wonderful day everyone just

Good morning all, lashing rain here and it's to last two days they say, that rules out finishing the hedge so I'll just have to brave the elements and make a wild dash for the local come lunchtime, the things I do to help keep the economy going.
Hope the weather is better where you are.
Take good care of yourselves folks.

Re: Have a Terrific Thursday Folk.

Good morning fellow members and a thoroughly miserable one it is too with driving rain.

I have been to do the shopping and am just going to make a batch of vegetable lasagne for the freezer and some tiny fish pies for baby Hannah to have for her lunch on the days she comes to stay.

Chloe has retired to bed in disgust, she hates the rain.

Have a pleasant day everyone .

Love the photographs everyone thank you

Re: Have a Terrific Thursday Folk.

Good morning everybody. Haven't been here for a few days I mean posting to this thread, not been away or anything exciting!!

Rain is expected here around lunchtime, so all dog walking duties are out of the way. Am off out shortly to put right yesterday's forgetfullness which is starting to get me down. Then I'm off to Allonby by the sea to collect a dog who will be staying with me for a few days.

Lovely photos again, I really must sort some more out later on. Have been photographing wild orchids whilst on my travels so will also post them at some point!

Enjoy the rest of the day folks

Re: Have a Terrific Thursday Folk.

Good morning all. Yesterday proved quite interesting with word from my doctor that I'm to begin injecting myself with insulin as soon as it arrives. Diabetes is a degenerative disease and over the past 7 years the pill medications stopped being effective in controlling it.

Since it was a beautiful day outside I visited my favorite place, the zoo, and managed to come home with a a bonanza of photos. This little guy seemed fascinated with me taking his portrait. He/she is a Dwarf Mongoose.
