It is very dark here and drizzling, just got back from Choe's walk with the usual coating of mud .
I am expecting a call from my brother and sister who always phone on Christmas day then I am off to see the little ones this afternoon .

Merry Christmas folks.The wife is currently making the soup for Christmas Dinner whilst the turkey is in the oven and the trifle is already made (with a highly alcoholic jelly, yum!) so there is little else for me to do but phone round the friends and relatives we will not be seeing today for Christmas Dinner and wish them good tidings and all that.
Our daughter phoned up this morning and said thank you for the gifts we gave them, and that she'll bring over our gifts when they come over for dinner.
The wife and I like to open our presents after dinner, but of course it would be cruel to subject our grandkids to that tradition.
I've got to get the table extended and somehow get a table meant for 6 guests ready to seat 9!
Hmm, that should be interesting.
