That is a discussion I'd love to have but have never started it because I know men on here may feel they're taking a battering but it would be, imo, interesting to discuss the hows and whys of that.

And further down the line, what about allthe birds who take slugs and snails and insects, will you want to wipe out birds next?

Humans are the most destructive and the biggest threat to the natural world. Consider how many animals are killed by motor vehicles.

Got to agree with you there Cinderella, I said in another thread that it will probably be man who destroys our beautiful planet in the end. Also agree when BV said a while back - everything in nature (including mankind), has it's predators and often its only the fittest who survive - barring accidents of course. Guess that's just the way it is.
