Our cat sleeps in the kitchen, just lately we have found remains left on the floor. Leave a pair of garden shoes by back door, went to slip them on to put something in the bin and found a live one inside. Poor thing let it go and it seemed ok.
Wondered what you meant for a mo Cinders, when you said your cat sleeps in the kitchen and you found remains - I thought. . . remains of what? Poo, or food, or the cat!
The only time a tiny Harvest Mouse crept into my kitchen both cats leapt up onto the work surface and howled for me to come and remove it! Wimps, the pair of them!!
