Tis no longer a rumor. I received an email from Amazon describing the program that allows the sharing of books between Kindle owners for no longer than 14 days. There are folks on this forum that have mentioned the desire to swap books since we both love science fiction. Go Amazon.

No e-mail for me from Amazon as of this writing, Bob, when did you get yours? How complicated is it ... for non-techies!

I'm sorry I deleted the email because I didn't know of your love of Sci-fi at the time. I'll contact Amazon & get everyone the details tomorrow.

Re: My New Kindle

I've posted a thread under the General Chat area on how to lend Kindle Books. I learned the basics by actually buying a 99 cent kindle book on how to lend books from Amazon. Unfortunately that feature is, for the time being, only available to U.S. customers. I've copied sections of the book in the thread with some basics.
