A film you revisited recently

Do you enjoy watching some films a number of times?
Or perhaps there is a film you enjoyed a while ago that you have seen again recently?

Post your favourites here

Re: A film you revisited recently

I had a sudden urge to rewatch the 1964 film Seance on a Wet Afternoon starring Kim Stanley and Richard Attenborough. It is one of those films that maintains the tension throughout resulting in a sore sphincter.

Another film I have to rewatch occasionally is Billy Liar from 1963 with Tom Courtney, Julie Christie and Wilfred Pickles so funny but very sad in its own way.

Apart from those Love Actually and Bridesmaids get fairly regular outings too.

Richard Attenborough is always good but Kim Stanley is even better. She didn't do many films, unfortunately.

I don't watch many new films, most of mine are repeats.Usually Will Hay,Marx Bros,Ealing or Hitchcock.

I watched Last Man Standing again last week. A tough modern western tailor-made for Bruce Willis.

One I never tire of watching - "Spring and Port Wine" with the mellifluous James Mason!

Watched what ever happened to baby Jane the other day, and bell book and candle. I've got a lot of oldies on DVD, I have to admit it's odd for us to watch a newer film we much prefer the oldies. One exception is we bought a zoo which we can all watch again and again.

I tend to never watch a film more than once. The only film that I have seen several times is To Kill a Mockingbird. I am the same with books, never read them twice, but have read TKM several times.

I love To Kill a Mockingbird CeeCee, I have watched it many times, read the book several times, and did Essays at School on it for my O'Level exams.
