Is Online news for everyone, or is it just for the younger generation?

Hello Suz-e and welcome.
As far as I know all the media news is for everybody- good news and bad news, but I suppose the younger of us would watch online news as they are usually more computer minded, therefore it might be directed more at them.
Anyway I think we heard it all before, especially from the politicians, and don't pay much attention anymore.

Hi. For anyone who cares to watch, I assume. I"m a bit stodgy, prefer my news from the newspaper, radio, TV and Internet in descending order! I get breaking news bulletins in my e-mail, but by the time I've opened and read them have already heard it on the radio which is on all the time......

TV and radio is where I get the news from....never buy newspapers, only the local one which comes out every Wednesday.......

I get news alerts from my iPad instantly from CNN. Events such as major disasters or big stories come to me automatically. I suppose in the case of upcoming weather alerts they could save my life. I stay in touch.

I usually have a look at the news on-line when I turn on in the morning. There is a section on my home-page which gives the news headlines and it is updated throughout the day.

I'm that most dreaded of species, a Daily Mail reader. I've always preferred reading a newspaper, than scrolling up and down on the PC. I also only watch the news on Channel 5 at 5, can't stand all the other lot. Sad, but hey, its life, but not as we know it!

Don't worry John, I am more dreaded than you, I am a Sun reader. Of course I don't believe everything in there but I do enjoy the crossword, letters page etc.
