Ditto. What a bloody awful song. 1971. Same year incidentally as Jimmy Osmond's dire hit....and probably numerous singles from Cliff too.

Loved this I have the album, must have liked it a lot because when we went over to CDs I went out and obtained the CD too !!

It got to No 1 apparently, so there were a lot of people with the same taste in music.

I don't like the song (?) - but it does bring back happy memories - sailing on the river, mooring up at the marina and having a delicious dinner in the local pub. This song seemed to be permanently playing whenever we were there.

LOL I have eclectic tastes in music on the same day I can listen to middle of the road, cliff richard, dido, status quo and the london symphony doing dvorak or hayden. Just depends what I fancy. Love jazz and classical and country and folk ..... not much I am not keen on. Beatles I wasn't a fan and hip hop and grime not a fan. But most of the rest great.
