I am sad to say the first record I bought with my own money was a 45 single of Cliff Richard singing "A Girl Like You". I think I still have it.Prior to that my father would occasionally buy me those awful Embassy records from Woolworths cheap version of copies of hit songs (That is FW Woolworths not the Aussie one)
