Folks are a bit like beautiful cars, the designer got it just right from certain angles, but, from other vantage points, they are sometimes a bit disappointing.

As far as I can recall, the only crush I ever had from the moment I saw him in his film "Malcolm", was Mel Gibson as a young actor. Swoon! I would happily have been a naughty girl for him, and that is saying something for a well brought up Irish Catholic girl.

I've never had a crush on anyone that I can recall, and I most definitely wouldn't have a crush on a "celebrity". They're just publicity constructs and nothing is real about them. I always figured crushes were a female thing, what with their penchant for screaming at pop groups and boy bands, whereas males never do this with the female equivalents.

I remember feeling quite upset at the age of about 7, that I was never going to see or meet the Osmonds

Seems now they have Welsh family connections
