Oh dear Julie My DIL has done that on more than one occasion.

Re: Oh no I have done it now

My son went on an Adventure Weekend 2 months ago and took his phone which was supposed to have been waterproof, he went into the river and got it wet, but couldn't get it working? He took the seal of the back to have a look at it to see if he could mend it but no way he said, so he took it back to the shop as it was on contract and still under guarantee. But because he had opened it up and broken the seal? They said he would have to pay for another one himself?!

Crumbs ... I feel for you. How annoying.
I've done it with socks and stuff but never a phone or anything that has involved expense.

Re: Oh no I have done it now

I've dropped a couple of my old type phones down the loo and into a pot of paint. After a bit of care they worked perfectly well. I would hate to do the same with my present phone. It has an (I) in front of phone! Think it means incapable of being dropped, made wet or submersed in paint.

Well the next obvious step is to put in the dryer.
