Re: Amateur photography : Hints & Tips

Hi

Rhian, the Uni Student, is showing me how to take photos.

She thinks it is hilariously funny, but does it all for free.

as long as it doesn't buffer out after so many shots. I learn't that lesson very early on with a cheap slow MP/s memory card. So now going on to using 128GB 170mb/s SD cards

this is because with the camcorder I am duel recording @100mbps in 4K which is a large file size as well as in XAVS. this is so I am also recording a backup at the same time.

Video recording buffering doesn't occur which is nice.

For those who don't know what buffering is.

Basically

A camera can take a lot of photos in quick sucession. The memory card may not be able to accept those photos so quickly so it stalls until there is enough memory to accept more.
THis is one reason why not only card memory size GB but also mb/s is important
