Thanks gal - I did look that up before I posted, a variation on aren't it seems, and different dialect, is that right ?
The thing that puzzled me was all the other words 'isn't' = is not - cant - don't - all make sense - ai n't started me off on this spiral of thought !
I think too much - that's my trouble
