Unfortunately, yes, I do have experience. I will send you a private message with some details, but would really advise you to firstly, be examined by an experienced periodontist. Expect to pay up to £500 for a full private examination. To find someone suitably qualified, go to the General Dental Council website and search for a professional in your area:
http://www.gdc-uk.org/Pages/SearchRegisters.aspx
Get the full report and ask for advice on keeping your own teeth and their life expectancy.
IF the professional recommends extractions, then look for someone to do the implants. There is no professional qualification for implant surgery, so you will find every Tom, Dick and Harry saying implants are for everyone and bragging about their experience - total rubbish! Search the gdc website again for a restorative dentist - then start phoning and ask about their experience with implants.
It will cost a small fortune and they are NOT lifelong solutions. Get opinions and quotes from at least 3 or 4 professionals.
Good luck
