Attitudes towards bowel cancer screening

Hello,

I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University of Surrey. For my dissertation I am investigating attitudes and beliefs towards bowel cancer screening. This questionnaire is online, anonymous and has ethical approval from the University of Surrey. The requirements for taking part are that you must be aged 50 years or over and be a resident of the UK. More information is provided in the link below, before you decide if you want to take part.

If you would like to take part, please follow the link below. If you have any questions, please email me at ld00338@surrey.ac.uk

Thank you,
Laura Day

P.S. I hope it is okay to invite people to take part in this study through this forum. If it is inappropriate, please let me know and I will remove the post.

I thought your questionnaire was an interesting piece of research.
I've no patience with folk who are queasy about this kind of screening, it's not difficult or particularly unpleasant.
All screening is so valuable.

Thank you for taking part
I find screening a very interesting topic. Hopefully the results will be useful in some way, particularly any extra comments people add.

I personally would have it as bowel cancer is a secret killer. It's upon you before you know. In Cardiff when I lived there they screen at 60 automatically.
