14,000 but may be considerably more - nobody knows, as yet, how bad COVID-19 can get in a harsh winter last April,

400 a day succumbed to the virus - remember, some "experts" predicted that the virus would die in summer ..... well, it hasn't .....
You forget that the vulnerable person reservior will be more than
half empty due to the previous deaths Omah, and so there will be
less fuel for covid to feed on?
Once the current crop of oldies has passed on then the
infection rate may remain high BUT the death rate will more likely
drop to even lower levels as the population sheds its weaker
members?? IMO, of course !
