I've read through the last two pages of that thread and only saw two mentions of 'they' and 'they're' - both made by me and in the instances used it was, in the first instance, the Government and in the second, the powers-that-be in the nuclear industry.

Hope that's cleared that up.

Well I couldn't name the fracking company involved in my reply cos I don't know their fracking name, so they had to be called they and if I'd named the local councilors I'd still be typing that post. so they had to be called they too, but obviously they were a different they to the other they but I could have perhaps been clearer about who they are so they don't get confused with they, IMO.

perhaps my they's are numbered.
