Taken in Guernsey showing the island of Herm and the ferryboat to France.
We managed to get a little walk yesterday near a local lake. Everywhere was still wet but the floods had gone.

Morning folks, dry and windy here but very mild.

No plans for today but may potter around in the garden later and maybe get some more seeds going on the windowsill.

Well the Olympics finishes today. Seems a quick 2 weeks
Enjoyed it but glad I don't have to do some of those tricks
and exercise. Rather do running on dry land not ice and snow.

I am going to tackle the mound of ironing today, I can't get on my garden yet, the water on the lawn and flower beds has only just receded so no gardening for me.

Morning all. Lovely photo.

No pacific plans today!

. Just later on, before 2pm and when the trading shed closes, I will need to pop down to the allotment site to collect the weekend's takings. And take some old documents for storage: one of the reasons for going yesterday, to check out the other hut.

When I became Treasurer last October I inherited all the files, and they all needed drastic thinning.

We now have a padlock for our greenhouse so I look forward to getting some seeds sewn later on. When I gave them that good start last year they grew too well. Cept for the tomato plant that got stolen! Hence the new padlock.

Has been raining again this morning, but dry now and brighter, hopefully the sun will come out later.
