Re: Good monday morning

Good morning all, -3.0c here at 8.30 a.m. but a clear morning. At least we have now seen the back of January and can only hope February will see the temperatures begin to improve. Have a good day all.

Happy Monday, peeps!

A beautiful morning here in Milton Keynes. Sunny but very cold. Roads were so slippy on my way into work; my ABS brakes were shuddering like mad. Why do they do that anyway??

Anti-lock brakes work by sensing loss of traction on the road. The shuddering you experience is a sensor releasing pressure on your brake rotors very quickly, allowing perfect stopping power in slippery conditions.

Good moaning everybody

Cold, white and bright here. About ½" of snow fell last night. Should soon melt I think. Have a nice day!

Good Morning Everyone

It's 10 degrees F. this morning but looks like it could go to 28.
Snow Tuesday and Wednesday, hope it isn't the kind Eileen got.

I do my laundry today (exciting huh well that's not all I'm going to do. I miss my condo where both my washer and dryer were in my bedroom, right there a step away to put things away. Why weren't our homes like that. Here I go downstairs and wait sometimes but I am not complaining.

Have a good one.

Happy Monday all
First of February, a beautiful day and I claim the first lawnmower of the year! No, not me mowing, silly, I haven't any grass, but I'm sure I can hear one not very far away!

It's called pulsing Miranda, . . the ABS system rapidly applies and releases the brake pads to prevent your wheels locking up on slippery roads.
