Coldest winter

It's official, Scotland has recorded its coldest winter in almost a 100 years.

Certainly has been perishing up here, first time I have worn a scarf and gloves everyday during the winter.....
Cannot wait for the summer.....

It don't surprise me, . . many mornings I have looked at the outside thermometer and it's read -10, . . the coldest was -12 in our garden.

Yeah, . . it been the weather for sgian dubh's, . . (pronounced skian doos) . . . . those are pigeons with skis on.

PS: a sgian dubh is a small dagger tucked into the top of your socks in Highland dress.

I love the first description [shouldn't that be 'doves'-lol] -I am transferring my savings of £27.50 to invest in Damart shares!

Sounds more like :Camptown Races" than "Dixie" to me .....
