I only take my watch off when I have a shower. I always have my phone with me but I never think to use it for telling the time despite using it as an alarm clock. Daft eh?

Re: Do you still wear a wrist watch

I've got 6 watches - I bought the Tissot last week for £760, it's all titanium - 2 other more expensive ones, the other 3 more reasonably priced. I've also got an Apple watch which hasn't seen much action lately.

It's a hobby of mine, quite a costly one. I'll only buy Swiss except for the Apple. I don't particularly favour quartz over automatic but the Monaco is my only automatic presently. It cost me £4k. If I tire of a watch I'll sell it and move on to something else. Of course there is no need for me to have more than just one watch but I like them. I don't have a car to own and maintain, if I did I suspect more of my money would be going there.

I don't think I've ever consulted my phone for the time; it's a lot easier looking at my wrist.

We would wait until a lad had a beer in each hand the shout "what time is it". Automatic reflex is to turn the wrist.....and oooops.

Naughty but you don't know the stunts they pulled on us.
