Good morning Wednesday

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

Still dark at this hour, I seem to be waking earlier and earlier! A wet start with most heavy rain clearing through the morning is the forecast. Maximum temperature 12ºC.

Typical that the weather is wet when I have to go to the town today, no choice either. It looks as if I will be getting rather damp, unless of course it stops in time.

Blimey rain rain rain...is it just in Yorkshire?

Definitely putting Christmas tree up today in preparation for family get together on Saturday I didn't have time the other day when I said I would but for sure today....I love Christmas

Morning all.
Raining again.

Today a joiner is coming to fit two new doors including replacing the jambs and surrounds. They are ages old and are very warped and draughty.

Also, I have an electrician coming for a full house wiring check.

If I get time I'll be visiting a record shop to begin my new vinyl collection, starting with Pink Floyd of course.

Good morning - A U3A walk followed by pub grub today. I'm hoping we won't get too much rain.

Good Morning all,

Just finished a pile of ironing and made a cauldron of winter veg soup.

Going to shower and change - then am going out with friends - not sure where we are going but am sure food will be involved!

Ahhh - a neighbour has just telephoned to make sure I am OK - been so busy in the kitchen I forgot to open the sitting room curtains so she was worried. Wasn't that kind of her? It is so lovely to live among caring people.

Good morning everybody.

A Wednesday with a difference for me.

My Wednesday walking chum is on her holidays and Ady can't take Tony out as there's a sickness bug at their house.

I think I might take Tony to the mill town of Belper - get some chips from Georges and have a walk round the river gardens. Weather permitting of course...

No summer, it's not just in Yorkshire, it's pouring here in Cambridgeshire too, unfortunately!
