Well done you, don't woory about the weight gain too much at the moment the main thing is giving up the weed, which is the single best thing you could ever do for your health, as well as your lifestyle.Re: Smoking
Marion, I gave up around 25yrs ago and also put on weight, I think most people tend to eat a bit more to compensate but it tapers of and eventually you get back to 'normal'Re: Smoking
Great job Marion! I switched from smoking to nicotine lozenges. Kind of like Methadone, that is switching one addiction for another. It's been maybe six years since I lit up though. But also upping the exercise is a good idea, you can enjoy having clear lungs again!Re: Smoking
Well done Marion! I, too, was a smoker and did enjoy it, but I have to say it's one of the best things I've ever done giving it up. As difficult as it was. Like everything else, it's a time thing. The more time passes the more you get used to not smoking. Don't worry about the weight gain, you've done something great!
