I've been given my very own 'troubleshooter' with BT, I've caused so much aggravation for them and their totally crappie service - always losing the internet

This is just a slight possibility; it might be a neighbour stuffing you up by using the same channel as you. Often these routers default to the same channel.

There are phone apps which can look at the Wifi around you and you can see if there is one on the same or adjacent channel.


This was me hogging all the bandwidth with repeaters (just a test) but you can imagine those other routers didn't fair too well. There are several routers on Channel 1

Yes, I think you are quite right. I've (hopefully) discovered a way of moving my internet signal along now.
