A women poet in DCSounds far to classy for me
Writes limericks and pose
It Makes me wonder how that Arose.
One that I wish was mine but I found in a letter from a relative to a soldier in the Somme makes me tingle every time I read it:-
There is someone who thinks of you often
And thinks the time long since you went
There is someone who misses you badly
Yet trie's to be brave and content
Now this someone is sending you all their love
And promises to be faithful and true
Do you wish this someone was with you
This someone believes that you do.
