If you buy one with a line instead of a plastic blade it will be ok when you strim against brick ect, you can buy cordless ones that don’t have a trailing cable

I have one of those its rubbish never feed the cord out so I am also doing the same way as Carol .

I've got both strimmer and long handled garden shears Carol, the shears do get blunt ,I'm back to using the strimmer

I made sure my lawn edging was slightly below the level of the lawn Carol, Now I can mow up to the edge. And I don't trip over the raised stones.....

I finally decided on this Bosch edging tool. Hope it's the right choice.

The Bosch edging tool has arrived & I tried it out today.

It's brilliant - just what I need. I don't mind having to kneel down to do it - it's so easy.

Edging will be a pleasure now.
