I love Christmas and all the razamatazz that goes with it but not keen on the oversized, wobbly plastic garden characters some people seem to like - tacky.So glad I live amongst the oldies
No fear of them putting any in their gardens, thank goodness, just a few outside lights, which is very nice.

There is an estate in a nearby town where EVERY house is like a monstrous Santa's Grotto of lights anf animations. .We used to drive there drliberately when the kids were young ...now I avoid it like the plague!
It is all about the children isn't it?
