Disappointing email

Just received an email from B & Q saying that owing to them wanting to reduce prices for everyone. The over 60’s Wednesday 10% discount card will now only be valid for gardening products!
I used to use mine a lot, with very useful savings.

I have had the same email...

So, from 3 September 2018, the 10% discount we offer to you every Wednesday will be limited to gardening products when you shop and take away in store.

I know B&Q are struggling so I am not surprised...

I had the same email. B&Q had three stores around this town up until a couple of years ago but sold two off completely and sold half of the third one to Aldi, so it's just a shadow of it's former self now and I get my DIY stuff form Wickes.

It was always too good to be true tbh. I am surprised it has lasted this long. Mind you, since the Aussies took over Homebase and destroyed it, I would have thought B&Q would be getting more customers.
