Yes LD, that era followed when printing plates were etched in copper and I seem to recall you had something to do with that, probably working at the same or similar companies to where I used to work.
The first company I worked at, where it was all computerised, had a mainframe computer which had to be in an air-conditioned room. The terminals / keyboards and printers in the room where the work was carried out also had to be kept cool. All that had no more computing power (probably less) than a good desktop or laptop we can buy today. Amazing really how technology has developed, especially with the internet and what can be done now we have that.
