Re: Will this be the end of the Christmas Card?

Unless delivered by hand we don't give physical cards, much prefer e cards, no waste or trees destroyed and some lovely animated ones out there.

My cards are bought from sustainable sources and bear the logo of : http://www.fsc-uk.org/

Then of course cards can be recycled afterwards.

Yes I wasn't judging anyone else for sending cards they just generally always seem such a waste to me. I am not keen on displaying them as they gather dust - bit of an old misery me

Cards are recycled today so no problem there, many people need these cards, the only time of year they hear from anybody .......

Re: Will this be the end of the Christmas Card?

Oh everyone still hears from us just not with a card, we send a couple of Christmas letters end of November, chatty sort not the I have done this so well type, and that IMO is better as it's more personal and aimed at the person you are writing to. I think this year may be the last we have to post anything as Aunt Sylve is not looking good to make it through the winter at the moment. She is coming here on 20th and staying through Christmas so may be able to feed her up a bit and preserve her a bit longer !

Absolutely I wouldn't stop anyone else doing whatever they feel is right for them, I'm just a bit of an oddity where stuff like this is concerned.
