Re: Christmas Day

We bought much of our "goodies" for Christmas today at Aldi. We had a £15 off coupon if you spent £75, that's 20% off a trolley of already reasonably priced goods........can't be bad !

Re: Christmas Day

I'm getting a bit desperate here have half a side and two arms of a jumper to knit and a pair of slippers to finish sewing up. If I get it done will be a miracle - you lot keep me chatting and I never get on

Re: Christmas Day

Christmas has crept up on me without warning...it was a long and lovely summer, then it was winter (what happened to October? it didn't seem to happen) and now Christmas is two weeks away!

Re: Christmas Day

'Crept up' it seems never ending...
After three weeks of continuous phone calls and emails to John Lewis and being told different things from different people, I have finally tracked down and purchased the butterfly duvet set which is to be my granddaughter's Christmas present....whew!

So that is my shopping finished. All three grandchildren are getting duvet covers for their bedrooms in their soon to be new house ( subject to a survey, it is 17th century in parts so fingers crossed no woodworm or nasties) .

I can relax now till next year
