Had a lovely pub meal with my friend tonight. We had mushrooms with Stilton cheese sauce on half a toasted baguette, which was scrummy, followed by Lamb shanks with mashed pots, Brussels and carrots and a delicious gravy. There weren't any puds I liked, all very sweet and sickly, but my friend had some sort of chocolate brownie thingy (?), and I just had a coffee. NO BOOZE would you believe! It was such a thick white frost outside and the little village roads are often not gritted, so we were very sensible weren't we!I am now home, writing this in my jim-jams, feeling happy and content and enjoying a cup of tea.
Forgot to tell you, I went to a Psychic fare this afternoon and treated myself to several pretty little crystals. They fascinate me. My son and his on/off girlfriend called in this morning too, so all in all, I've had a lovely day.
