Is it possible?

Alistaire Armstrong said on telly tonight, that he has vague memories of being in his mother's womb.

Is that possible?

Re: Is it possible?

I suppose it is. When I had my babies and I was curled up in bed immediately afterwards I felt like I was the baby, I think it brought back memories.

Absolutely not Mups.
I don't believe that not one little bit.
Perhaps he dreamt it sometime?

Re: Is it possible?

I personally believe the brain of a baby when in a womb does not have the capability yet to rationalize, so that kind of memory may not be possible

Re: Is it possible?

We know less about the human brain than we do about the universe so who knows when and how it begins to function. To quote a recent Scientific paper on the subject "Extensive research is required to understand how brains function and develop, to get beyond our current primitive state of knowledge." So it may or may not be possible that memory functions in a foetus - we just don't know.
