Do you have a long lens?

Since cameras went digital I have never really found out to do the F stops and things .
Thank you Muddy.
For wildlife, I use my Nikon D500 with a 500PF prime lens.
There are lots of free training videos on youtube regarding photography and one of my favourites is a guy named Mike Browne. He is based in Hampshire and teaches in an easy manner. Have a look here

Thanks LD. G S Woodpeckers are quite common here in the UK and are always great to see. Check out your local reserves sightings online, take some binoculars and go find them

That's very kind mate and thank you. Fieldcraft is the most important thing. Knowing where your subject might be and trying to remember its call / song really helps too. Having lots of patience is a must with all aspects of wildlife photography and of course, lots of luck

Re: Some latest bird photos

What extraordinary marking the first one has, Gasman - the Egytpian Goose. I have never heard of those geese before.

Love the little Wren, and the Woodpecker is stunning too.
Poor Mrs. Mallard, I'd best mention her too.
