Here is the original tree that I took my painting from .

Its over 300 years old and is at Warrens in Barbados .

There is another bigger one on the island that is believed to be a thousand years old .

What history these trees have seen .
Perhaps that’s what makes them somewhat spooky

Recently I read an article about the worlds oldest baobab tree.
They say it is 6,000 years old. It was ancient when Julius Caesar was alive.

PS: there are trees in the California high desert called Bristlecone pine trees which are also 6,000 years old.
