NHS TripAdvisor

Families will be able to check the safety and quality of every care home in the country on a new TripAdvisor-style website run by the NHS.

They will be able to see if homes have been rated good or inadequate by inspectors and read critical reviews from other relatives.

The site is being launched by the Government amid concern that as many as a third of care homes in England fail to meet basic standards.

The problem here is the same as a hotel. If you can't afford the better hotel your doomed to poor service.

Re: NHS TripAdvisor

Biggest problem we are having at the moment with finding care for my cousin is many places won't take her because of her medical needs, nearest we have found so far is Portsmouth, we are wary of sending her there as none of us can get to see her her just don't have time for the drive.
I am not sure how helpful this will be in cases like that.
