Hand Knitting

I knitted this Jumper twenty years ago and it is indestructible having worn it every Winter
It was rather intricate to knit and now I would not have the patience.

Oh how beautiful Azure.
What a talented creative woman you are.
Knitting is something I never learned but I very much appreciate handknit items.

It’s kept very well too. I’d probably have shrunk it by now

Lovely! You're very clever, I tried Fairisle it's very difficult. I couldn't get the tension right at the back it was always too tight.
I can knit Aran though

Re: Hand Knitting

Had one like it knitted by an auntie, made me look like a wookie, and i would grow into it. Turned out it was not indestructible after all.

You and your Wookies!
I'm gonna knit you some fluffy mittens with a string to go through your coat sleeves and one hole for your camera poinker!

My mum knitted me the exact same jumper , must be 35 years ago

I loved it and wore it all the time

It was brown, orange and red and cream, very autumnal colours
