Colin Welland dies aged 81

I remember Colin in Z Cars which was in black and white
on our TV in the 1960's. He was a good actor.
He appeared in the film Kes. He also wrote the screen
play for Chariots of Fire and won an Oscar for that.

A Lancashire lad and died of Alzheimers.

RIP Colin you left your mark in the World .
