Music my Parents had

I always remember this single as one of the first songs I listened to..it was my mums among many others but this just stuck in my mind,I thought it was funny and loved Bridget the Midgets voice lol

My mum and Dad were great fans of David Whitfield and played his records all the time. I still remember almost all the words from his songs:



Their other great enthusiasm was for some of the DooWap groups of the 50's - in particular The Ink Spots:

My dad used to love Kathy Kirby songs, but the border collie we had at the time used to howl like a banshee every time he played her, which used to amuse us all greatly..... but not my dad so much...

Ray Stevens = brilliant
He did a take off of Barry Manilow, it was superb, the song
was fab too
