Re: San Franscisco

I'll be working there again starting on Monday (I used to work there in 2004 and 2005.) That song is definitely an homage to a San Francisco that's long gone. Nowadays with the latest technology wave a lot of the things that make San Francisco unique (lots of artists, strange little shops, quirky neighborhoods, affordable food) are a thing of the past. San Francisco still has charm, but its different.

Re: San Franscisco

I find San Francisco quite charming TBH,the people are more laid back than Los Angeles , but then of course that is "A great big freeway", to quote the song.
We found a Frank Lloyd Wright{American Architect], "who we love to bits",
building in Maiden Lane, which is now a gift shop.
