Omar Sherif

One of my teenage idols has gone ! Omar Sherif died aged 83. Loved him in Lawrence of Arabia, what lovely eyes he had!

Was watching one of his films last night (Mrs Arris goes to Paris) great actor and yes those eyes ! RIP Omar.

It is only a few months since Tariq, his son, was telling us about his father's struggle with dementia. Sad end for a lovely man. R.I.P. Omar.

Such a shame the dementia got to him as he must to have had a brilliant mind to play cards at the level he did.
