What an inspiration this great-great-grandmother aged 101 is! She started abseiling when she was 85 and is hoping to repeat the challenge next year at 102 She puts some of us young'uns to shame

She certainly is Mups, I imagine her family are very, very proud of her

I can't even climb a ladder let alone abseil 94m on a windy day

My mother (who is now 96 and goes fishing twice a week) did a tandem parachute jump at around 88.
And a glider flight a bit later.

I was tempted to do a tandem parachute jump on holiday in Italy but the price out me off- it was 150 euros.

I have no idea why someone would actually pay to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft.....

I think I've just had a 'senior' moment, I was talking about paragliding, jumping off the top of a mountain !
