Re: Reviewing life

Waiting 'is' horrendous - once you are diagnosed you can then assess treatments - do you look at alternative remedies Aysa ?
I discovered a remedy recently for Fabs and myself, works very well after years of misery, proves there are solutions out there .........

Depending how serious my diagnosis is Patsy will determine what my options are
I agree there are some very good alternative remedies out there for various ailments.

Re: Reviewing life

I try not to dwell on the past too much. I find it can be unsettling and depressing in the long term. I allow myself to reflect for a short while maybe but then I look to how things are in the present. I look to keep occupied and interested in life. I'm the type that always needs a goal and if I haven't one then I create one.

Oogway (Turtle Master) to Kung Fu Panda ...

You are too concerned with what was and with what will be. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.
Tends to work for me.

When you're young, life seems to stretch into the infinite and it's hard to think about being old. I get my state pension in a couple of months, and suddenly I realise that I can see a lot further behind me than ahead of me. What I've got left, I'm going to spend it on having a good time.

So, here's a part quotation attributed to the Indian warrior, Tecumseh..

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
I like the quote youve posted GW
