Nothing romantic. We'd seen each other around briefly. I thought she had a nice shape. We ended up at the same 1970's house party. We danced. Not only a lovely shape but a lovely mover too. It went on from there.We have been together for 43 years as second-timers, so it doesn't appear to have been a flash in the pan as predicted by some back then.
She's been in a wheelchair for many years now but we're still together. It looks like there was more to it than the lovely shape and moving.

I played the field with my mate Fred for several years. I met Fred at college and the first time I went back to his home I 'met' his young schoolgirl sister of 11 I think. Five yrs later I was playing lead guitar with Fred at a shared 16th b'day bash and I could not believe Fred's sister was the same girl WOW .. dances and kisses later that evening and my heart was captured. As a consequence I stopped playing the field and about a year after that we became engaged and by the time she was 19 were married and I had a mortgage at 24 on our 1st 2 up 2 down semi. That was over 53yrs ago and I have not regretted a single day we have been together.That shared 16th b'day bash for my darling and 5 of her friends was the start of the rest of my life :thumbup:
