Re: How did you meet

We have been married for 51 years next month, first meeting 55 years ago, I was fifteen he was nearly 18. My parents knew his much older brother and his wife. They came on a visit to my home island bringing my husband to be with them. I was instructed to be nice to Mr G's younger brother, I didn't want to be nice, having no interest in boys. However, he was very different to the other lads I had met, I found him fascinating. My father had four daughters to get rid of so the first chap with prospects to come calling was welcome. We married four years later when I was 19 and he was 22. I find it hard to believe our eldest girl is 50, time has gone so very quickly.
