Me neither. I cannot see the appeal of being so high up but in the open air. But I guess you don't hear about hot air balloon accidents very often.

I know it would be a lovely view from up there but I’d be scared to death. My legs would go to jelly if l looked down!

I'm with you Art.Heights scare the s**t out of me, but not in a plane, funny that. Had a chance in Egypt to go in one , lucky we didn't as one crashed around the same time injuring people badly

First time I got on a plane I said to the stewardess "Wow we are really high up, those people down there look like ants"

She said " They are ants, we have not taken off yet"

Why? wouldn't the pilot let you sit on his lap?
The new dreamliners are fantastic to fly in

Me neither Tiff.
We'll just have to stop at home then, won't we.

Re: Air Balloon

Joking apart I can well understand the fear of flying, I was first time up. The thing is if you want to see different countries a fly cruise is the easiest way

They even have special flights for nervious people shot hops to get used to the idea it is not as bad as one thinks. Buses are more likely to crash, you won't get me one one of them in a hurry

Plenty of lovely places to see in the UK & I am fine in a car. As I guess you are too? Though again I never learnt to drive.

Re: Air Balloon

Just thinking of the places we have been to which required going by air.
For example the Carribean, you could even learn these dances and even dress the same way

Re: Air Balloon

I went up in a balloon when in Egypt. We flew over the Valley of the Kings, it was an amazing view. A word of warning, never stand near the centre of the balloon, the gas flre that shoots up inside the balloon is exceedingly hot.

I wouldn’t hesitate to go up in another one in this country.
